BT
Corporate Social Responsibility
The outcome
CSR has become a key aspect of BT’s whole business. Its introduction has changed the way staff work as CSR has become an important part of decision-making.
As well as addressing important issues about sustainability, BT promotes the use of ICT for the benefit of everyone as part of its CSR programme.
BT has identified three major challenges for its CSR programme:
- Ultimately the need for sustainable economic growth to help save the planet
- The need for wider inclusion of all sections of society
- The need to tackle climate change.
